Arrival Information

Before / after experiencing Chasing Sunbeams, guests are invited to check out the wandering program through the laneways, nooks and spaces nearby.
To assist in protecting the art installations no food or drinks, backpacks, or tripods allowed in the exhibition.

The multi-sensory work features a soundscape composed by Raul Sanchez i Jorge, incorporating voice recordings from more than 30 local community members captured at Hardy Audio.
Collaborative contributions come from community-led initiatives such as Fontella – The Zine Machine by Siobhan Finn & Tegan Crosbie, and Murrup Art by Jenna Oldaker, alongside workshops facilitated by artists and educators Pauline O’Shannessy-Dowling and Carly Pitts (aka Pittywitty).
Throughout the project, The Social Crew has built strong partnerships with local organisations and businesses, including the Art Gallery of Ballarat, Ballarat Evolve, Federation University, The Rare Trades Centre, and the Wadawurrung Traditional Owners.
All the wonderful people we’ve met along the way will be featured during the show. Following us on the ‘gram is also a good spot to see behind the scenes. Here you go.
