Work With Us
Sunnyside is a bold new art experience transforming Ballarat with colour, creativity, and community. It is an original production, created and produced by The Social Crew. Featuring multi-sensory installations by UK artist Morag Myerscough, workshops, talks and wanderings, it’s a joyful celebration of connection, imagination and artistic expression.
Unlike conventional events that showcase a variety of artists, Sunnyside presents one artist’s vision expressed in multiple ways across Ballarat. The work will be shaped through community consultation and workshops, ensuring the artistic response grows from local voices and collaboration.
Featuring a major large-scale installation by renowned UK artist Morag Myerscough as the centrepiece of its art experience. Known for her bold use of colour and pattern, Myerscough will transform the historic Mining Exchange in Ballarat with Chasing Sunbeams — an immersive, dynamic spectacle inviting visitors into a uniquely vibrant setting.
Beyond the Mining Exchange, creative wayfinding will guide audiences on an open-ended journey through the city, leading to encounters with art in unexpected places. This approach encourages exploration, curiosity, and a willingness to embrace the unknown.
The experience aims to open minds, spark joy, and invite visitors to step outside the expected into a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
